You know how time seems to stand still when you're sitting in a three-hour class? Well, not tonight. I was in my marketing class, and things were definitely boring. The professor droned on and on and the topics of discussion were less than interesting. I kept checking the clock, expecting it to be later than it was and hoping we could leave soon. But alas, time was going at a crawl-- it had only been half an hour. A little while later, however, the funkiest thing happened. The clock suddenly went berserk-- the minute hand took off at top speed and just started zooming forward. Every 30 seconds advanced the time on the clock by an entire hour. After a couple of minutes, the clock had made it to midnight and it decided to go back to operating normally. It was so amazing. It was just like in those movies where they do that with a clock to indicate the passage of time. Only nobody was controlling this clock. It just did it on its own. Strange.
