This is the best news I've heard in ages: Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow this morning. Meaning, of course, that spring is coming early!
I know that whether Phil sees his shadow or not does not really predict whether spring will come early (I don't want you to think I'm gullible), but it does give me hope. This cold weather has been torture on me and my beloved cat. While you may have enjoyed the snow yesterday, I certainly did not. All of the heaters I own are being worked overtime, and I yearn for the days when I can be warm without having to wear seven layers of clothing.
So if Punxsatawney Phil wants to tell me that spring will come early, I have to listen. :)
