Tonight is a blue moon. Which, if you're familiar with the cliche, you know is not a normal occurrence. I went outside and looked at it for a while, and thought about where I'd be in three years when we have another one. I'll have been out of grad school for a year. I wonder where I'll be living and what I'll be doing. What friends will I have? What will Sprocket be up to?
For those of you who may not know, a blue moon isn't actually blue. It's simply the term referring to the second full moon in the same month. In July, we had a full moon on the 2nd and the 31st. It won't happen again until June 2007.
